L'etichetta Avid presenta un nuovo volume della sua collana Three Classic Albums dedicato a Patsy Cline. Questo doppio cd, completo di grafiche e note di copertina originali, include gli album: "Patsy Cline"; "Showcase" e "Sentimentally Yours" a cui sono stati aggiunti 2 EP ("Patsy Cline" e "Songs By Patsy Cline") e ben 12 brani originariamente pubblicati come singoli. Per molti versi, Patsy Cline, è ricordata tanto per la sua tragica morte quanto per la sua straordinaria musica. In questo è accomunata ad altri grandi artisti come Buddy Holly, Hank Williams e Jim Reeves. In termini puramente musicali tuttavia, Patsy Cline era già una grande star quando morì in un incidente aereo nel 1963. A differenza di Hank Williams, che era puro paese, Cline aveva preso una strada simile a Jim Reeves miscelando country e pop come dimostrano alcuni dei suoi più grandi successi: da "Crazy" a "I Fall To Pieces" o "Walking After Midnight".
